Aeons and Conduits

Before we ever arrived home 

The caverns were crowded with vermin 

looking for a place to hide and stay dry 

from the rain.   

First there was famine, and then there was war.  

With nowhere to live the war that still is  

entangle our lives.  

Safirijars had found the conduits of water and poisoned them  

as well as the wells,  

by lining the walls with venom.
