A filter of mist
gently rolls over the hill
and the day
breaks

the very same steep slope
cows climb each morning
to meet the sun
and graze,

look out, take in the view.
Even cattle dance
to the sun and take in the scene
on the top of the hill

as hooves
framed by grass blades
steady on slowly
and gracefully move on
