It's been fun to read, create, and discuss these. It's amazing to see the acorn of an idea blossom and grow into a great oak in just a month. Creativity thrives in a collaborative environment like this. Even when we aren't working on projects together, the vibe here supplements the creative process.

It's unbelievable to think this is the end of the month already and the Final Day of the Challenge. It's gone so quick. But what an incredible journey it's been.
I've thoroughly enjoyed being here with you all, and reading all the lovely work you've posted. It's been fascinating to see the different ways everyone has approached this Challenge. You all amazed me every day, and I honestly think we have witnessed the creation of a new art form.
What a lovely idea to send it to the musicians... I wouldn't know where to start though. Maybe next year. I might actually write through the months to prepare. lol This was so much fun. Once a month would be fantastic. Thank you again. X
You start by picking one of the poems you wrote. Maybe an artist you want to say thank you too? Contact them online via twitter, or other social media. Some may even be on Substack, Patti Smith is for example. You could also contact their manager, or record label and send the letter to the record label or manager. I think @Darienne and @Rod Bluhm did some research and Rod also got an answer! @Dick Whyte wrote one letter too maybe you guys wanna share how you got the addresses. I contacted Youssou N’dour’s manager to verify the address I have but no response so have to look again before sending the handwritten letter. Some things we don’t overthink, just do. Or it gets overcomplicated. That’s my take.

Thanks to Writer Pilgrim for supervising the prompts and for their support and kind words. Thanks to all of those who participated for all their words, their creativity and their encouragement. Also to the artists whose songs were our inspiration and platform.
It was amazing to feel part of a wave of creativity rather than merely a solitary ripple. I very much hope this will be a monthly event and I shall certainly be in attendance! I have had loads of ideas of how to mine this Song Title theme, I’m sure others have too! Perhaps we could take turns at proposing a theme for the month or submit ideas to Writer Pilgrim who could then pick a monthly 💡. Don’t know, I’m just putting it out there…
Meanwhile, I will be trying to keep up with everyone’s writing. I’m at that point of the year when I need to concentrate on more formulaic writing - it’s end of year report time! Perhaps I can work in some lyrical feedback to my students reports this term…
