Thank you for your beautiful poem. Truth is a disposable thing, it no longer has the weight of other times, like in the Renaissance. Today, everyone has their own truth, which they won't give up, and some even sell it or try to force it on us. The truth is that the truth is often a lie.

Oooooh, ok this is a very philosophical opening. I get it! It is more important holding on to a truth, or a belief because what is there is too scary for some. So we can sleep walk, or try to get it, or ignore it altogether. All the choices make it seem like the easiest thing is too simple to walk away from. Love this comment. But, sorry there is a but. Truth doesn't need to be disposable. I hope. Keep the comments coming :)

In my opinion, we have to be prepared for the passing and disposable nature of truth, otherwise what would become of science and philosophy? In this instant it is true that we are alive, in the next instant life becomes a lie consumed by death

Thank you Nancy. Sometimes a poem and the truth meet. Only sometimes, though right?

I think poetry is always the writer's truth, unless they are faking to please another.
